Connie's Ric Rac started as a retail store circa 1982. Connie, a mother of 2 boys, ran the establishment where she sold electronics such as radios, digital watches, vcr's, etc. There was no stage or performances at the Ric Rac then, of course, and the only form of entertainment offered was bootleg tapes and videos. Connie experienced great success selling the technology of the future but her real passion was oil painting More History...
We are offering a five week stand up comedy class culminating with a performance at the end on our awesome stage.
Taught by a twenty year veteran of stand up who has appeared on comedy central, Jon Stewart and Howard Stern.
Focus: Developing original material for the stage using actual life expierence as your premise..

REMEMBER: Every deal is more or less negotiable depending on your situation. We are a B.Y.O.B. so we don't make money on anything but the door! We do not book shows with hardcore rock music (any moshing or tossing of beverages means the show is OVER!). Too many things got broken when we did that once before. Also, all ages shows do not have the B.Y.O.B. option.
Thank You For Reading This. We hope to have clarified a few things for you and for ourselves.
_ The RIC RAC Crew.
